friendship braceletes

We need to treasure our friendships and celebrate time we spend together. 

It all started years ago, with our oldest in one class, we spent time before each Christmas making decorations for the school Christmas fair. Even though our children left school, we still meet to prepare something new for our own Christmas trees. 

I made these braceletes to simply say "thank you for being there". I tried to express the charakter of each one of us by choosing the right color of delicate merino wool and shades of silk and linen for the peacock's eye.

However, while rolling these bracelets, I came up with two other projects for bracelets. I'm going to try them out pretty soon, because there are only seven chocolates in my Christmas calender, and so many people to give presents to.
