eyes of peacock's tail wool painted on a wet felted pillow

I took all photos of my hand felted pillows in our garden - lately visited by the inspiration for this exact pictorial piece - a peacock. 

Anyway, you can see peacocks in my town on daily basis. 

Children look for their colorful feders.

For the base I blended the finest merino wool in beautiful turquoise and emerald green adding some silk.

After that, I painted the peacock's eyes with silk, bamboo and wool in many vivid colors. 

I used the wet felting only.

As you can see on pictures above, the pillow can put on the sofa both ways. 

The back is made of double layer of cotton in ivory with 3 buttons.

The size is 30 cm x 35 cm.
